Lucy Whitecloud - Her pack weighs exactly 15.8 pounds without food but with water. She carries exactly 2 liters. She’s on a mission to hike every single trail in America and she’s halfway through. She’s a sponsored hiker, and she still would be out there, walking, if not for the terrible weather that’s rolled into the area and her sprained ankle. Her team is going to come up in three days with her personal doctor and they’re going to get her trail ready again. She’s eating exactly 2500 calories a day, she’s still walking around the grounds to keep herself fit, not a hair is out of place on her outfit or in her room. She hates the neighbors across the hall, and they hate her. -Description provided by Julia Yarbrough
To bring the game's 2D pixel art style to life, I began by creating 3D models. As a 3D artist, this approach plays to my strengths while accommodating the final 2D aesthetic. The 3D models allow for greater flexibility and variety in development. I animate the characters in 3D, record those animations, and convert them into 2D sprites, ensuring smooth and consistent visuals throughout the game. This method bridges my 3D expertise with the needs of a 2D pixel art project.
